About Dr. Lauren Rosen, Psy.D., C. Psych. - Psychologist
Registered Psychologist Dr. Lauren Rosen received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Chicago’s Adler University in 2010. She has been a practicing psychologist for the past 14 years, assessing and treating children, adolescents, and families. She started her professional career in Ontario, first completing her pre-doctoral residency at the Hincks-Dellcrest Centre in Toronto, then working in private practice.
In 2011, she moved home to Halifax, Nova Scotia, and continued work in private practice until 2014. For the past 10 years, she has worked in community mental health and addictions at the IWK Health Centre. For most of that time, she has balanced her full-time position between clinical work and being the team lead for her outpatient team. She has expertise in the assessment of learning disabilities/disorders and ADHD and the treatment of ADHD, anxiety, OCD, and eating disorders. She loves to run and spend time with her husband and kids, usually watching them play hockey. She is excited to be a part of the Artemis team!
Learning challenges don't define ability - they define support needs. The right support can change a child's entire path.
