Try This Month: Ask for One Specific Support

Advocacy doesn’t have to be loud or exhausting. It starts with clarity.

And I’ll reveal something about me here; this is where I struggle. However, I’m learning that asking for help is one of the most powerful things I can do.

This month, ask for one specific support (and I will to!)

Try this month:
Make one clear request:

  • “Can instructions be written down?”
  • “Can I have extra time?”
  • “Can we break this into steps?”

Specific requests are easier to meet and reduce frustration on all sides.

This builds on shame-free language and self-understanding.

Next month, we’ll reinforce progress by making success visible.

I would love to hear how this Try This Month worked or didn’t work for you. Drop us a comment on our social media or connect with us directly at [email protected].
