Uniquely You

ADHD Coaching

Igniting self-actualization in my clients is the joy of my work.

As an ADHD Coach, I partner with clients in creating a supportive, nurturing and collaborative relationship to find individualized and creative solutions to life's challenges as they manifest for the ADHD client specifically.

With me, clients gain extensive information about what ADHD is and isn't, and, learn how ADHD impacts them uniquely. Together we explore their personal strengths and weaknesses and collaboratively engage in action-based management of their specific brand of ADHD.

As an ADHD Coach, I encourage active self-actualization towards solutions in all areas of life; education, workplace, interpersonal relationships, personal and professional goal setting and more.

About Tara

Uniquely Me

Picture
Tara Carman-French, CALC (Certified ADHD Life Coach), Director, Reiki Master & Teacher

For the past ten years, Tara has guided hundreds of clients through the process of Psychoeducational and Attentional testing. Tara is a master in decoding assessment language and school board procedures for clients, helping clear the path to establishing supports within public, private and post-secondary education. Tara is passionate about working with clients to help them navigate educational systems and advocate for themselves and their children.

Fueled by a desire to further help clients after the assessment process, Tara built on her foundation of a diploma in Integrative Wellness Coaching by completing training specifically in ADHD Coaching. She is currently working towards gaining her credential with the  International Coach Federation (ICF), the governing body for coaching, with established Ethics and Standards of practice for its members. At the moment, Tara is a student member of the ICF and is committed to upholding it's policies.

Prior to her work with Artemis, Tara built a successful career in theatre that took her across Canada to various venues, including Theatre Passe Muraille, The Grand Theatre in Calgary and the University of Toronto.

Tara's current position as Owner and Director of the Artemis Assessment and Treatment Centre fulfills a desire to live a more altruistic life, where she could truly give back to her community through her work.

Tara majored in Theatre at Brock University and in English and Aboriginal Studies at the University of Toronto.

She still speaks a little Ojibwe (an Aboriginal Language - Miigwetch), plays guitar, cooks incredible vegan and vegetarian food, volunteers with community theatre (the passion never left her), and is Vice-President of the Windsor Kin Club where she cooks and serves food monthly for the Windsor Youth Centre.
