About Dr. Patricia Ross, Ph.D., C. Psych. - Psychologist

Dr. Ross is a Registered Clinical Psychologist who completed her Ph.D. at the University of Waterloo and has more than 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults. In addition to completing clinical assessments in her Private Practice, Dr. Ross has completed assessments and provided other clinical services in both hospital and school settings. She has developed an expertise in exploring concerns in educational achievement, social-emotional and behavioural functioning, as well as in assessing for ADHD, Learning Disabilities and FASD.

Dr. Ross believes that individuals, parents and teachers can benefit greatly from a comprehensive understanding of a person’s functioning, including cognitive, emotional and behavioural factors, when developing strategies and plans for support. Outside of her Clinical practice, Dr. Ross and her family spend much of their time caring for animals who have been abused or have other special needs.

Struggling in school or work is often a sign of unmet needs - not a lack of effort. Empowered families create confident learners. Empowered individuals achieve success.
